During the fall of 2018 we began to increase our presence in the Southeast U.S. Atlanta, GA is currently being used as a location to collect materials to send to closed countries in Central America.
Clarkston, a city just outside Atlanta, is home to a large population of refugees from closed areas around the world. We are working with ministries in the area to reach the unreached people groups now on U.S. soil. This suburb of Atlanta is considered to be the most diverse square mile in America, with over 40 nationalities and 60 languages being represented. The “Ellis Island of the South” is a designated refugee resettlement centre that welcomes 1,500 refugees every year from areas such as Burma, Bhutan, Ethiopia, Somalia, the Congo, and the Middle East. With unreached people groups now in our area, we are serving alongside existing ministries to introduce the gospel into their homes.
Atlanta is now a donation center for materials going to Clarkston, GA and closed countries in Central America. We are collecting materials such as suitcases, clothes, medical kits, toiletries, small toys, and school supplies.
