Extremely severe cyclonic Storm Mocha was a powerful and deadly tropical cyclone in the North Indian Ocean which affected Myanmar and parts of Bangladesh in May 2023. Currently VBB is trying to meet the needs of 5,000-10,000 displaced victims from Cyclone Mocha which hit these areas in mid May. The devastation has wiped out over 80% of the villages in these areas leaving thousands unfed, uncared for and no home to call their own.
